Hydrotherapy, also known as aquatic therapy or water physiotherapy, involves special exercises that you do in a warm-water pool. The water temperature is usually 33–36ºC, which is warmer than a typical swimming pool.
Aquatic physiotherapy is different to aqua-aerobics, which can be high-intensity, as it’s generally more focused on slow, controlled movements and relaxation. Hydrotherapy sessions are conducted by a qualified physiotherapist. We have several sites around Australia that have hydrotherapy pools, otherwise we can work with you in a pool in your local area
